About Me

Karyn Ness
Hello, thank you for visitng. I would love to hear your story and your thoughts. This blog is intended to be a part of my grief recovery workshop called "Safe At Home: Peace of heart, Peace of Mins." I will provide an address when the site is more developed. Grief and bereavement counseling is my personal passion: largely due to my own experiences and the experiences of people I love. I invite you to read my story, also called "Safe At Home," which is the inspiration for the name of my project. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and a licensed audiologist. I am a provider of Early Intervention services in Illinois. I live in Park Ridge, IL. with my husband, three daughters and two dogs. I enjoy long distance running, and strive to place God first in my life. This affects the way I receive death and bereavement. My family and I attend the Chicago Church of Christ, North Region.
